The Inca Empire
The Inca empire was the biggest and had the most expanded colony in American history, it lived from 1400 to 1533 CE in ancient Peru. It was vastly spread out through Mountains, rivers, farms and stretched from South America all the way to Santiago in the North. The only other empire that was able t compete with the Incas wealth and power, was the Aztecs who fought war after war between the two empires. One of the most famous monuments created by the Incas is known as Machu Pichu, a town spread out on the mountain tops in South America, it is still visited daily by tourists all over the world. The Inca government shared similarities to society in Europe, there was a social class system, where the Kings ruled over the Nobles who ruled over the peasants and farmers, however, despite this, The Incas were extremely advanced for their time. This advancement leads to success which was shown throughout the Incas empire, their capital city, Cuzco was covered in gold from top to bottom. It had reached a population of 150,000 people at one point and housed the political leaders of the Empire.
